Setting Up Automated Tasks Using Express Setup

This feature allows you to set up types of tasks that can be assigned to specific employees. You can also designate which tasks are to appear on the Calendar Dashboard.

To set up labor automated Tasks

1. Select Dashboards > Quick Start from the menu bar.
   
2. Click on the Express Setup link from the lower right corner of the screen.
   
   - or -
   
   Select Help > Express Setup from the menu bar.
3. Click on the Setup Tasks link from the Labor section.
4. Select the task to activate and to appear on the Calendar Dashboard, and then select Next. The Worker Tasks Settings screen opens.
5. Select Add from the toolbar. The Add Task screen opens.
6. Select an event from the Event droplist, and then select the task from the Task Type droplist.
7. Enter values in the Assigned To, Duration Hours, and Comments fields.
8. Click OK.
9. Click Finish to close the screen.
